Bonita Kay & Lonita Grant

Twins from North Bay Ontario where Lonita (Lonnie) ran a successful catering business and gourmet specialty food and cheese shop. With many years in the hospitality industry, Lonnie took her love of wine and went to Napa Valley to write her WSET wine spirit education trust course. When she came home, she began doing wine and cheese tasting events  to share her knowledge of how well wine and the worlds greatest cheeses pair. A self-declared foodie fanatic!

Bonita (Bonnie) moved to the Caribbean and Mexico where for many years she worked in luxury goods and jewellery sales. When she came back to Canada, she sold home goods and furniture where she excelled at helping people find items to complete their home's décor. Bonnie brings her extensive sales knowledge to The Grape and Wedge where she has brought a variety of local artisans’ unique creations together with a selection of essential home décor and kitchen and bar items. 

Both of us have always been drawn to the forest and lakes of Ontario and could not find a better place to set up a shop with both our passions together than in Apsley.
